Back to life, back to reality......

Judah and I got back from our 2 week whirlwind trip to Idaho on Wednesday. To say we had a great time is, well, not really sufficient. There were lots of smiles, laughs, hugs, but also alot of tears. This trip really taught me one thing, A BOY NEEDS HIS DADDY! Judah went a little
nut-so without Brent tossing him around, and talking in his deep "you'd better listen to me" voice, and their nightly wrestling sessions....But now we're back, and things are much better with Judah's attitude and actions. It is really amazing what a deep voice can accomplish in 2 days!!! Oh yeah, and I missed Brent too. Alot!

So, about out trip, we had an amazing and fun-filled trip thanks to all our family back in Idaho! Our first 3 nights, Judah and I stayed with Grandma Debbie in Nampa. Here are some pictures with explanations of our activities!

Reading books with Grandma Debbie

Our visit with Pop (Brent's Grandpa)

Teeter tottering at the park by Grandma's house

With Cousin Rhonda at the Gem County Rodeo

Judah with his favorite goat, "his long beard looks like Daddy's!"

Then we were off to camp at Redfish Lake. I grew up camping there, and it was like coming full circle and seemed very appropriate that it would be where Judah had his first camping trip! There really is nothing like eating Dinty Moore Stew for dinner, Hot chocolate in the morning, and in the afternoon swimming in an ice cold glacier lake. I love Idaho!

Eden really getting into the new Harry Potter book

Judah taking a ride on the jetski with Uncle Paul

Hanging out on the floating dock

Beach bums

3 kids on a jetski!

Let's make dinner!

Favorite Judah line of the whole trip, said while playing in mom and dad's van: "I wanna drive the car and the baby's in my drivin' seat!"

Eden chowing down on an apple

checkin' out the stickers on the back of the tent trailer

Eatin' campin' pudding

Reading a book with Grandma

Swimming with the cousins

Eden looks like she's about to get into trouble....

Judah in Josh's (Keyes) patrol car with the lights on!!!

Pretty pooped on the flight home...watchin' some toons.

All in all, we had a great trip, and got to spend time with alot of friends and family. We did miss some of you, however. And if so, I am soooo sorry, we really wanted to see everyone, we just wore outselves ragged....Judah is exhausted, I'm pretty sure I have strep throat now that my body has had a second to relax...maybe next year we'll just have a series of BBQs at my mom and dad's house, and everyone can come and see us!

As I type this, I can feel that my blogging muscles have atrophied, so hopefully I can get back into the swing of things this net week and blog blog blog...I'm awfully close to 100 blogs...only 10 more to go!

Have a great weekend all!

Hi Lish - Was waiting to get to work today to see what you posted about your time here. Loved all the photos but especially the one of grandpa and Judah with their towels wrapped around them. Also the ones of Judah and Lyddie wearing my visors. I want all of them. Haven't looked on our camera yet to see what photos Paul took - there could be some of the same ones...We missed you too, Johnny, and ALL the Keyes kids.

Miss you guys and love you.
