He is always saying something....
funny Judah sayings recently:
"I think I'm allergic to marshmallows."
After dropping one macaroni and cheese noodle on the floor, "Jager! Do you want a mac and chee?" (you see, mac and cheese must be plural, so mac and chee is just one)
"My shoes have a tongue, just like my mouth!"
Judah- "we went to this big place where there was a big bear. And I saw a catfish."
my friend Christy- "Was it like a museum?"
Judah- "No! it was like a catfish!"
(about our trip to the new Bass Pro Shop)
He also begins alot of his sentences with, "You know what?" and is getting better about not answering every question with, "I don't know."
Happy Monday. Let's all have a great week!

Trip to Huntington Beach Dog Beach last weekend
the thoughtful Jager
the thoughtful Jager
"Did God make the beach just for dogs?"
I seriously love this dog...
The jury is still out on this cat...just kidding...it's more like a love/hate relationship.
I hate that I love him so much!
Well, I've been battling a fairly bad headache for the better part of this week. I think I figured out it is a sinus headache, even though I don't feel congested or sinus-y , but it is very painful and has pretty much kept me out of commission for the past three days. Prayer would be good, because Aleve and Sudafed aren't working. I really don't know what else to do. It feels better when I'm laying down, but as the full time mother of an almost 3 year old, we all know that laying down lasts for about .07 seconds.I hate that I love him so much!
Other than that, things are ok. Brent is working alot, which is like a love/hate thing too. hate the overtime b/c it keeps him away from us, love the overtime b/c it means a bigger paycheck for all the new bills...But we have to take the overtime when we can get it, as soon as it gets colder and darker, it will be hard just to get 8 hours in day. anyways....
What does the weekend hold, you ask? I would love to go with the family to dog beach down in SD, so we'll see how I feel in the morning. And Brent just asked me if we could go over to a co-workers house tomorrow night for the big UFC fight. What?!?!? Alicia likes UFC? Yes, yes I do. It's like High School wrestling, just a little more umm....well, aggressive. So hopefully we can make it.
With that, I should probably get going...I hear screaming coming from the far end of the house....he he he! I love having a "far end of the house"!!!

What Book are you?
I found this to be a little too close for comfort....but it is a way to kill time and procrastinate!
You're Catch-22!
by Joseph Heller
Incredibly witty and funny, you have a taste for irony in all that you
see. It seems that life has put you in perpetually untenable situations, and your sense
of humor is all that gets you through them. These experiences have also made you an
ardent pacifist, though you present your message with tongue sewn into cheek. You
could coin a phrase that replaces the word "paradox" for millions of
people.

Back to life, back to reality......
Judah and I got back from our 2 week whirlwind trip to Idaho on Wednesday. To say we had a great time is, well, not really sufficient. There were lots of smiles, laughs, hugs, but also alot of tears. This trip really taught me one thing, A BOY NEEDS HIS DADDY! Judah went a little
nut-so without Brent tossing him around, and talking in his deep "you'd better listen to me" voice, and their nightly wrestling sessions....But now we're back, and things are much better with Judah's attitude and actions. It is really amazing what a deep voice can accomplish in 2 days!!! Oh yeah, and I missed Brent too. Alot!
So, about out trip, we had an amazing and fun-filled trip thanks to all our family back in Idaho! Our first 3 nights, Judah and I stayed with Grandma Debbie in Nampa. Here are some pictures with explanations of our activities!
Then we were off to camp at Redfish Lake. I grew up camping there, and it was like coming full circle and seemed very appropriate that it would be where Judah had his first camping trip! There really is nothing like eating Dinty Moore Stew for dinner, Hot chocolate in the morning, and in the afternoon swimming in an ice cold glacier lake. I love Idaho!
All in all, we had a great trip, and got to spend time with alot of friends and family. We did miss some of you, however. And if so, I am soooo sorry, we really wanted to see everyone, we just wore outselves ragged....Judah is exhausted, I'm pretty sure I have strep throat now that my body has had a second to relax...maybe next year we'll just have a series of BBQs at my mom and dad's house, and everyone can come and see us!
As I type this, I can feel that my blogging muscles have atrophied, so hopefully I can get back into the swing of things this net week and blog blog blog...I'm awfully close to 100 blogs...only 10 more to go!
Have a great weekend all!
