We got a call from our new landlord today! That's right! We're moving! All things considered, we are very happy about all of this! it is going to be a tight fit getting packed up, and un-packed by this time next week. Because, a week from tomorrow, Judah and I are leaving for Idaho for 2 weeks! Anyway, our God is faithful, and he has provided us with a lovely home that is much nicer than we expected! I will flood you with pictures as soon as we move in, but for now, all I have is this crappy cell phone picture!
And some new pictures from the park yesterday...
And then there's this:
Judah's newest casualty.... Monday night, hot tub. He was standing on the edge, and Jager decided to come up on the edge, and bumped Judah off balance. he pretty much hit the cement face first...it looks worse than it was, minimal bleeding, I think it just pretty much took the top layer of skin right off...poor little guy!
So I may be MIA for a while, with moving and all, and then the trip. I'll try to keep you updated, but may not be able to post from M & D's house with their dinosaur connection!!!
Have a blessed week and weekend all!!!

A good weekend
Saturday we headed down to the San Diego Zoo. It was forcasted to be only 78 degrees, but I forgot to account for humidity....let's just say I'm really glad I've only ever had to live in a dry climate. My clothes were sticking to me. The humidity was 85%. No thank you.
Then last night, I finally talked Erica into cutting my hair short! What do you think?
A good family weekend! What else can I say?

What have we been up to lately.....
Besides not blogging, obviously....Sorry. Our computer is going through some "issues" and Brent tells me a re-formatting is in order.
The ups:
-Judah is healthy! Really healthy. He's been sleeping well, and wanting to be very active, which has been hard in such hot hot weather.
-Brent has been working alot, and playing Foreman for his crew while the real foreman was on vacation for a week and a half. He really enjoyed that, but having Tex come back was hard. Brent runs a very efficient crew, and Tex, well, not so much. So that is hard for him. We are praying for the day when that position of Foreman comes up for Brent.
The downs:
-I'm tired. I've been tired. I've been having a hard time sleeping again. It seems to come and go in waves. I've been cutting out caffeine, trying not to eat late at night, etc. Last night I think I had my first Migraine ever. I laid in bed until 2 listening to my heart beat in my face.
-Judah is pushing the envelope. He has been exceptionally disobedient lately. The worst one for me is that he has been, what do you call it, SASS MOUTHING ME. Like if I say, "Judah, you need to go put your shoes away right now." He would say, "You need to put YOUR shoes away!" I know it sounds lame, but it happens all the freaking time. Especially with punishment. Like, "If you don't do this, you're going to get a spanking." and he'll say, "YOU'RE going to get a spanking." and it just makes my blood boil. And he knows it. I don't even know what to say when he does that, and I have had to resist the urge to smack his little mouth many times. I know, I'm a horrible mom.
-Brent and I haven't been out on a date by ourselves in at least 3 months. There just isn't any time, or any money, or any babysitters. I got a pedicure last weekend, and realized it was my first Judah free time in a while, other than Sunday morning at Church.
The good, bad, and the ugly:
-We are moving. We have to be out by August 1st. It is a LOT sooner than we expected. We knew this was going to be a temporary living situation, I just had no idea it was going to be this temporary. Dino has a man working for him that is moving from Michigan, and they will be needing to live up here. So, here we are, next to nothing actually saved up, and looking for a house to rent.
The reason this isn't under the ups or the downs is because it is both. We are excited to use all of our belongings, and be done living like we are on an extended camping trip. I get my washer and dryer back, and our entertainment center, and our kitchen table. Also, a bonus is not spending so much on gas. We didn't realize that when we moved all the way out here, we would be spending all the money we should be saving on gas and maintenance for the van. We have gone through 3 sets of brake pads in the 5 months we have lived here. For those of you who have visited us, you know why. The drive is horrendous! So there are lots of positives for moving "back down the hill".
But there are definitely some things we will miss. We will miss Judah's built in buddies, Cello and Austin. They are always up for playtime, and Judah has really gotten to be good friends with them. We will miss the pool and spa, and of course, the view. And we will miss having a huge place to have big get togethers with our friends.
Anyway, prayer is in order. We are going to have a hard time coming up with all the money we need in time, but we know that our God will provide.
So, anyway, let me see if I have any new pictures...ha ha ha ha! I always have new pictures!
A daily occurrence When Judah gets up from his nap. Obligatory snuggle time!
